New Finds and Old Faithfuls

As most know, we are taking a week off for the inevitable medical things that come along with aging. This one is going to really improve Granpa Mel's vision. I'd say it will make him look younger, but Idk if he can get any more handsome so🤷🏼‍♀️

My job is designated driver so y'all pray for him (and me) as we plow through this process. To be honest, Grandpa Mel has attended to me through way more medical procedures (and shopping trips) than I ever will for him. Y'all when I'm sick or have a medical procedure, he puts a chair outside our bedroom door and reads with the door cracked enough to hear if I need him. He's the rock in this house to be sure.

Since I am not baking my normal this week, I'm trying some new things out for the Seamark Ranch Fall Festival next month on October 25. Check it out and hope to see some of your faces at our stand. For sure we're moving into pumpkin, ginger and maple icing season and there may even be a few surprises (see photo gallery for a hint).

As an aside, also check out the mission and vision at Seamark Ranch if you're not familiar with the ministry. Church of the Way in Fleming Island takes the Seamark families a meal once a month and you don't have to be a member to participate. Message me if you're interested and I'll hook you up.

Please be sure to check the email address used to sign up for the blog and for other important announcements. Some did not receive the notification about our outage on the site and that's how we communicate. Other than Facebook, email is the most reliable. Instagram doesn't play well with businesses unless you're a larger entity who can afford the advertisements. Sometimes you'll see a quick reel on Instagram from GGDH but they're less frequent.

The SHOP page will come back up Monday, September 22 for deliveries on the 30th. If you want something not offered, we’re happy to consider additional offerings once we’ve vetted a recipe. Send me a message on FB or you can message me on the CONTACT page of the site.

Although it’s clear from the gallery of photos we have attempted Dubai Chicolate Bars (and they were awesome) we will not offer them in the SHOP because they must be refrigerated and that doesn’t fit cottage industry laws. Plus who wants a melted chocolate bar? It’s Florida!!🍫🍫🍫☀️☀️☀️ But we will be using those ingredients to create something equally yummy! So get ready for a new season filled with wonderful smells and mouth-watering healthy options. Remember we never use seed oils and always source as close to real as possible.

Order by Sunday, delivered to your home or workplace on the following Tuesday. Tell your office buddies.
